A popular brand in South India, Genesis-Basics has extended their line to include three stylish brands - Basics 029, Genesis and Probase. And an extravagant retail concept store - Basics Life - to include all the three brands. The collections revealed at the fashion show, held at Le Meridien Chennai, boasted of an eclectic mix of the uber cool and classy. With the who's who of fashion kept spellbound for over an hour, Hasbro Clothing showcased their latest offerings, audio-visual et al. The newly launched trendy range comprises trousers, shirts, denims, suits and funky thematic t-shirts in the latest fabric, cuts and colours, and are already a rage - upping the fashion quotient of the city.

The most significant of the launches were that of Basics Life, a new lifestyle experience for men. From clothing to accessories, it is the first-of-its-kind store in India, which will be positioned as the Ultimate Fashion Destination for men. Initially displaying the three brands under Hasbro Clothing, the stores will grow to include all brands from across the globe, catering to men's lifestyle and grooming. The brand understands that men have evolved, and are seeking what's in vogue. Basics Life will entertain every man who wants to be spoilt for choice, and is committed to ensure that they never go wrong.

Basics 029 captures the spirit of a cultural capital, a blend of the conservative and the untamed. Born in the sprawling metropolis of Chennai, Basics 029 is a distinct mélange of everything the city represents - the people, the passion and the energy. The merchandise is about today and what's in now. Basics 029 is a casual wear brand which has in its product line anything from shirts to t-shirts, jeans to cargos, caps, belts, jackets, track pants, shorts, cotton slacks, muscle vests and so on.
